Back to the Hips
Length: 90 mins
Teacher: Toni Cupal
In this MLK day class, we will take a deep dive into our hips - exploring how our yoga practice helps us look deeper into things. Such looking can move us to change, both personally and as a society - just as Martin Luther King always inspired. Please have a set of Tune Up balls (or tennis balls), a strap or small towel, a couple blocks or books and a blanket. Today’s chant:
Sarve bhavantu sukhinah
Sarve santu niramayah
Sarve bhadrani pashyantu
Ma kashchid duhkha-bhag bhavet
- Vedic prayer
May all be happy
May all be free from sickness
May all look to the good of others
May none suffer from sorrow
