Yoga
Ultimately yoga and healing are both journeys to discover who we are. In our Yoga practice, we believe that where the mind meets the body, where consciousness meets breath, there emerges a force, a life force that we call Prana or Chi. To explore and experience deeper states of seeing and accepting yourself induces greater peace within and enables one to access this force and energy which heals and transforms.
In Yoga we explore the body using traditional and non-traditional asanas to find places where energy is not flowing and help it move. We also develop awareness of the breath, body, mind and emotions to deeply get to know ourselves and discover the grounding that comes with that knowing. Deeper states of consciousness and healing are experiences, not something we just read about in books. Every class is an experiment to try different ways of moving toward this experience. The strength that comes out of glimpsing this will resonate into our lives and our work.
