The Art of Healing
Healing Cultures is a place to heal and to grow: Heal from injury, illness, trauma, emotional distress or simply lack of direction or worthiness. Grow in new directions, feeling lighter and more free, building one’s intuition, and learning the art of healing. Through the distinct practices of Ninniku Okyū and Intuitive Healing, as well as through retreats and workshops, we create an environment in which each individual can explore and cultivate their own path to deeper health.
There is indeed a time and space for healing which moves each of us to heal.
This is our offering.
Toni Cupal, our co-founder, offers Ninniku Okyu treatments, supports the Healing Cultures community through yoga classes and annual retreats, and teaches the art of healing to selected students in the Healing Cultures Training Program.

New Approach to Healing.
Announcements
Our annual Winter Renewal Retreat focuses on the transition from one year to the next as an opportunity to purposefully cultivate a sense of renewal. During our time together, you will be guided to explore and experience what this means for you personally.
Ritual invocations of energy and the power of the Esalen grounds themselves will support your healing journey by providing an intentional space for you to reflect on all you have experienced individually and collectively within your community during the past year.
Healing Cultures now owns Yoga of Los Altos!
For those unfamiliar, Yoga of Los Altos (YoLA) is the beautiful studio where Toni Cupal has been offering her Monday morning class for the past year and a half. This addition marks a significant step in expanding our community and being able to create a wider set of offerings for all of you.
We are also delighted to announce that Cheryl Hsu has joined the Healing Cultures staff and, together with Louis Jackson, our Director of Yoga and Healing Support, will be managing the studio going forward. They are eager to build on YoLA’s success and bring new opportunities for community connection and growth as they guide the studio into its next chapter. If you have any ideas for what you would like to see happen at YoLA, please feel free to contact either of them (cheryl@healingcultures.org or louis@healingcultures.org).
Hope to see you there!

Healing Cultures Training Program
However long it takes, the training program is a journey to discover and chisel your culture of healing, your space and time to create and translate healing into your everyday life in a way that inspires you through your senses and introduces the rhythm of ritual. Ways of knowing, aspiring, shedding, embracing, witnessing, and embodying all together constitute “healing”for us, as it is imagined and created in our lives.
If you are interested in joining the training program, please contact Sarah.
